We are currently offering a new opportunity at the Bruker Global Business Services Center located in the very heart of Warsaw, Poland or Porto, Portugal.

 

The Record to Report (R2R) Business Analyst (m/f/d) supports the global Record-to-Report process organization by translating business needs into clear process, data, control, and system requirements. The role provides analytical and execution support to the R2R Process Owner, helping maintain consistent global processes, strengthen reporting quality and controls, and advance approved improvement initiatives across Bruker. Working in a global environment, supporting legal entities, business units, regions, and shared-service teams. The role focuses on GL accounting and reporting, period-end close, reconciliations, statutory and group reporting, FI/CO structures and related master data, and supporting R2R process and technology changes. Specific sub-process assignments may evolve with business priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Document current and future-state R2R processes, requirements, controls, dependencies, local variations, and handoffs using approved BPO standards
  • Gather and analyze business requirements; prepare process assessments, impact analyses, data definitions, and functional inputs for review by the R2R Process Owner
  • Support intake and evaluation of R2R change requests by validating completeness, business rationale, process fit, affected stakeholders, and cross-process impacts
  • Maintain R2R process documentation, global templates, decision logs, issue lists, action trackers, and supporting knowledge repositories
  • Analyze process performance, close-cycle results, recurring issues, reconciliation trends, and data-quality concerns; identify root causes and improvement opportunities
  • Support the development of R2R KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting, including reliable data collection and clear interpretation of results
  • Coordinate with Business, GBS, Corporate Finance, FP&A, Internal Controls, Audit, IT Business Partners, and BSO/SAP teams to progress approved priorities
  • Develop or support business requirements, test scenarios, test evidence, defect follow-up, user acceptance testing, and business readiness activities
  • Support communications, training materials, and Key User engagement for approved process and system changes
  • Monitor assigned actions, risks, dependencies, and benefits; escalate decisions or issues requiring Process Owner or governance review
  • Contribute to R2R harmonization, automation, reporting-quality, and control-enhancement initiatives without assuming final process design authority
  • Perform other duties as required. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience in R2R, Finance operations, business analysis, process improvement, shared services, or ERP-enabled transformation
  • Experience in a complex multinational environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of R2R, general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes
  • Ability to translate business needs into structured process and functional requirements
  • Strong analytical, root-cause, problem-solving, and data-quality skills
  • Working knowledge of internal controls, audit evidence, and process documentation
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and workshop-facilitation skills in English
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively across functions, cultures, and levels without direct authority
  • Organized, detail-oriented, pragmatic, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Experience with SAP FI/CO, S/4HANA, reporting/analytics tools, process mapping, testing, or workflow tools is preferred
  • Professional accounting, business analysis, Lean/Six Sigma, project, SAP certification is preferred. 
  • Operates with a high standard of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
