We are looking for a seasoned finance professional to lead the FP&A and Finance Excellence function across BDAL, BIOS Group as Head of FP&A and Finance Excellence BDAL, BIOS Group (m/f/d). As a strategic partner to divisional leadership, you will play a critical role in driving business performance, strengthening planning and reporting capabilities, and supporting the execution of key strategic initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities

 

 

  • Lead divisional FP&A activities, including forecasting, budgeting, financial planning, close processes, management reporting, and P&L performance analysis.
  • Deliver actionable business insights by analyzing key financial and operational drivers, developing executive-level reporting, and recommending actions to improve performance.
  • Drive planning and reporting excellence, ensuring high-quality deliverables, effective governance, transparent KPI tracking, and continuous process improvement.
  • Provide strategic finance partnership as the primary finance business partner to divisional leadership, Corporate FP&A, and Corporate Accounting, supporting fact-based decision-making across the organization.
  • Lead and develop the FP&A & Finance Excellence team, fostering collaboration, accountability, talent development, and organizational resilience.
  • Support strategic initiatives and finance transformation efforts, including post-acquisition integration, cross-functional projects, and execution of divisional priorities in partnership with the SVP Finance.
  • Perform other duties as required.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field required; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • Significant experience in FP&A, controlling, or business finance within international organizations, with proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Languages: German (communicative proficiency) and English (fluent).
  • Pragmatic, solution-oriented, and focused on creating business value.
  • Highly accountable and results-driven, with a consistent track record of completing initiatives successfully.
  • Collaborative team player who builds partnerships across functions and organizational levels.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Experience with SAP, SAC, Power BI or other reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage complex projects with demanding deadlines and key stakeholders.
  • Excellent oral, written, computer, quantitative, proposal, and technical communication and presentation skills, including advanced MS Office.
  • Operates with a high standard of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Maintain a valid passport with flexibility for travel.
